Our clubs are all members of our Factual Association ,
but at the same time our clubs are members of two NPOs,
the “Auxiliary Association of Lions Clubs of Belgium” and the “Humanitarian Fund of Lions Clubs of Belgium”,
which they have created.
Each of these NPOs is managed by a board of directors parallel to the 8 members of the Council of Governors.
The Auxiliary Association houses the administrative activities and staff of our association.
The purpose of the NPO Humanitarian Fund is to receive contributions
in the form of donations from the Auxiliary Association or the clubs.
It then distributes these funds for the benefit of National Work, LCIF or Medico.
These two NPOs strictly adhere to the principles of double-entry bookkeeping and are audited by four auditors, two per NPO
and one external auditor (auditor or former auditor).
